| ummm.... just pointing something out here.. i here lots of people saying that they love this spring weather that we're havong now, but if started to turn "spring" in the middle of the summer i think we'd all pretty much be worried out of our minds. if we have a 15 degree day in the middle of winter its seems pretty cool, but if it started snowing in the middle of the summer, i dont think we'd think that as cool. i dont want to say global warming, cuz u no, thats sortof taboo in some circles, but it does seem strange. k, thats it bye | | |
| Hey everyone, just thought I'd update my blog with a little rant on politics. Im a little bit fed up with Canadian politics. What I'm writing is not supposed to be proconservative or proliberal, or proNDP for that matter. Im just mad about the system. I mean no matgter who you vote for, no matter what political party gets in, NOTHING WILL CHANGE. Nothing is right enough, or left enough to bring in change. All the major condendors r pretty much right in the middle heading towards the left. Sure, we learn in class the Conservative on the right, Liberal in the middle and NDP on the left. But thats not really how it is. No party will ever have the support or the power to really make any change. Everything is just slowly moving to the left... no matter what party ur voting for, the results wont really vary all that much... we will always keep sliding to the left. Like I said before this is not a rant against the left side, because honestly i believe that being radicly right and radicly left r both bad. You need to find a balance of progression of ideas and keeping the ones that already work. but rite now we dont have that balance. Some mite tell me to put my vote towards the CHP... but that wont help either cuz they wont get in. Im not sure id vote for the CHP even if they had the power to get in... but ill get to those reasons some other time. The only way i can see anything changing is if theres some big radical change in the way our country is run and i dont see that happening to soon. I also think we need more transperency in the government, more accountability of how our money is spent, less beurocracy between different levels of government and so o and so on. Well, thats it for now... jujst thot id get that off my chest. | | |
